Golf'in on P. Day

Put your thinking caps on again and try this weeks poll (you had a week off so no excuses)...Sounds like Todd had a pretty good week here is his e-mail.

Hey Family,
How are things going on the south side of the world? All good in the frozen north. Actually it hasn't been too bad. I think the high here has been 64 degrees. That's warm here.
We got to go to the Temple today. I was so excited to be able to go. You have no idea. It's been like 7 or 8 months since I could go. Man not cool But it was way awesome.
We also played golf behind the mission home and got yelled at because we were using real balls and weren't on the golf course. Like we could have broke anything. Oh and guess what this guy in the ward just MADE me a putter for golfing. It's like a $135-$150 putter and he made it for me for free. So when I have time at night I just putt around the house. I am getting really good at putting. Way cool. Another member gave me a whole box of MRE's I am trying to loose weight so I really don't eat too much of them but still cool, then he gave me a camelback. He is a recruiter for the Army and has all this stuff lying around and just gave them to me. Man how cool is that?
The work has been going slow but we are progressing more and more. Yesterday we spent all day in the hospital giving blessings to the sick and old. We gave 3 or 4 blessings and was just all over the place. Got no real work done, but the Lord will bless us.
We are still working hard and doing the Lords work. Hey I want you all to read Elder Bednars conference talk. That is really important for you all to read. Also how is all of your food storage going? You guys need that, the prophets have strongly urged us to do that, and if your not in the temple as much as you can possibly go then repent and do it. The prophets are really urging us to do these things. Get on them. The end is really near and we need to become better. Like President Hinkley said, "Try a little harder, to be a little better."

So that's it, for those of you who have a subscription to the Ensign read Elder Bednars talk in the next issue. For those of you who don't receive it and would like to read it, let me know and I will get one to you. Todd is serving his mission NOT because he was made to go but because he has a strong testimony of the teachings of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and is eager to share that with others. I too have a very strong testimony I know that our Prophet Thomas S. Monson receives revelation today to help guide and direct us in these latter days. I know that my Savior gave up his life for me so that I may return to my Father in Heaven someday. When I live the way I am taught I know I am so much happier. These things cannot be disputed for they are how I feel and believe. For those of you who are interested in learning why we are here and where we are going please let me know and I will be happy to have 2 wonderful young men come to your home and answer any questions you may have.
